UC Irvine
UCI Graduation Photographer | Natalia | UC Irvine Class of 2026

UCI graduation season hits different when the golden hour light is perfect and your grad is ready to celebrate. UC Irvine has some of the most photogenic spots for graduation photos in all of Southern California, and when Natalia reached out to book her UCI graduation session, I knew we were going to create something truly special. She had a clear vision: wildflower fields glowing with warm afternoon light, the iconic UCI campus sign for the big celebration shots, and a bottle of Veuve Clicquot to make it completely official.
Natalia is a University of California, Irvine Class of 2026 graduate with a B.A. in Business Economics. She also repped her Alpha Phi sorority sash alongside her official UCI regalia, and the combination of royal blue, white dress, and black graduation gown looked incredible in every single frame. We shot across two beautiful locations: a stunning wildflower field bathed in golden evening light and the famous University of California, Irvine entrance sign where the celebration energy was completely off the charts.

There is something about the pure joy on a grad’s face when she throws her arms wide open in front of that UC Irvine sign that never gets old. Natalia absolutely owned this moment. The warm evening glow wrapping around the stone lettering behind her and that huge genuine smile make this one of my favorite shots from the entire session. These are the images that end up framed, screenshotted, and sent to every family member before the night is even over.
For Natalia’s solo UCI graduation portraits in the wildflower field, the light was absolutely unreal. Golden hour in Irvine does something magical to a field like this. The soft blooms, the warm bokeh greens, and the hazy glow filtering through the trees above all worked together to create this dreamy editorial feel. Natalia’s white dress and royal blue UCI stash popped beautifully against all of it. That raised hand shading her eyes from the sun gave the whole series an effortless and natural quality. This is what UC Irvine graduation photography is supposed to look like.

Back at the UCI campus sign, Natalia stepped into a more confident and composed energy. Holding her stash and facing the camera straight on, this shot has the kind of presence that looks incredible as a large print. The warm sandstone wall behind her and the soft evening light created the perfect backdrop for her senior portrait. Every UCI graduation photographer recommends this spot for a reason. It delivers every single time.

The wildflower field gave us so many different moods to work with. With her cap in hand and fingers running through her hair, Natalia was completely natural in front of the lens. There is a relaxed confidence that comes from knowing you just finished four years of hard work at one of the best universities in California, and it shows in every single frame. These UC Irvine graduation photos captured exactly that energy.

And then came the champagne. Natalia popped a bottle of Veuve Clicquot right in front of the UC Irvine sign and the laugh that came out of her was completely genuine. This is one of my favorite types of shots to capture at any UCI graduation session because the joy is completely real. The spray is real. The smile is real. And that moment is one she will never forget.

The over the shoulder look in the wildflower field is quietly one of my favorite shots from this session. The soft afternoon haze filtering through the trees, the wildflowers in full bloom, and Natalia glancing back with this calm and knowing expression. No forced posing here. Just a beautiful graduate at the end of a chapter she worked incredibly hard to complete. This is what graduation photography at UC Irvine should feel like.

A close detail shot of the stash is always worth getting, and this one says everything: Natalia Ghanem, UC Irvine, Class of 2026, B.A. Business Economics. Four years of work embroidered in gold on royal blue satin. This is the detail shot that hits differently when you look back on it years from now.

The Veuve Clicquot bottle alongside her UCI stash is the ultimate detail shot from this session. That iconic yellow label, the champagne still dripping down the glass, and the gold lettering on the royal blue satin. It is a perfect encapsulation of this milestone moment.

The final frames from the University of California, Irvine campus were the perfect close to this session. There is a cinematic quality to movement that a perfectly posed shot just cannot replicate, and Natalia looked completely comfortable in her own skin as we wrapped up this beautiful evening.
Natalia, congratulations on graduating from the University of California, Irvine. A B.A. in Business Economics, four years at one of the greatest universities in California, and memories that will last a lifetime. You earned every single one of these photos. Thank you for trusting me to document this chapter. The best is absolutely still ahead.
