Zoe T | University of Arizona Graduation Session | Old Main Steps + Fountain

Zoe T tossed her cap on the front steps of Old Main and the photo that came out of that moment is one of the cleanest cap toss shots I have captured all season. One leg up, cap flying, “OLD MAIN” right above the door, white dress, pure joy. That image alone makes the whole session worth it and then she pulled out her Dirtbag’s Class of 2026 stole at the fountain and we got something completely different that was just as good.

Zoe is a University of Arizona Class of 2026 graduate and her solo session at Old Main showed two sides of a UA grad that I love capturing: the milestone moment on the iconic steps, and the Tucson personality that makes every UA experience unique. The Dirtbag’s stole says everything you need to know about how she spent her four years here, and she wore it in front of the Old Main fountain with exactly the energy you would expect.

We opened on the Old Main steps for the cap toss. White dress, red UA stole, one leg kicked up, cap launched into the air. The symmetry of the staircase railing and that big arched doorway with “OLD MAIN” above it makes for a frame that practically builds itself. Zoe made it look effortless on the first try.

Then we moved to the fountain for the more relaxed look. The green Dirtbag’s “Class of 2026” stole came out, and standing in front of the Old Main fountain with the red flower beds and warm afternoon light, it became one of those shots that perfectly captures the Tucson graduation experience. Campus landmark, Tucson bar stole, and a smile that says she had an incredible four years. That combination is very specifically a UA grad thing and I am here for it every time.

Zoe, you gave me a cap toss and a Dirtbag’s stole in one session and I could not ask for more. Congratulations, Wildcat. Bear Down, Class of 2026.
