University of Arizona Graduation Photographer

This is my home campus. I graduated from the UA with degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurship, which means I know every corner of this campus worth shooting — not as an outsider, but as someone who spent years walking these same paths.

Over 1,500 graduation sessions photographed since 2013, and the University of Arizona remains one of my favorite places to shoot. The combination of the desert landscape, the iconic red brick architecture, and that unmistakable Arizona light makes for portraits unlike anywhere else.

Where We Shoot at UA

Old Main is the most iconic building on campus and a must for most sessions. The archways, the columns, and the surrounding lawn give you a classic UA look that photographs beautifully in almost any light.

The Mall stretches through the heart of campus and gives us wide open space, palm trees, and a sense of the full university experience. Great for movement and natural shots.

Eller College of Management is a personal favorite for business graduates. The modern architecture and the Eller signage make for clean, sharp portraits.

The Agriculture Building and surrounding areas offer beautiful landscaping and a quieter setting away from the busiest spots on campus.

Tucson surroundings are always an option for graduates who want something beyond campus. The desert landscape, the mountains, and areas like Tumamoc Hill or Sentinel Peak offer a uniquely Arizona backdrop that you simply cannot get anywhere else.

When to Book Your UA Graduation Session

I shoot University of Arizona graduation sessions during both fall and spring semesters. Spring season books up fast — I recommend reaching out at least 4 to 6 weeks before your graduation date to secure your spot. If you are graduating in May, aim to book by late March. Fall graduation sessions have more availability but still fill quickly once Commencement dates are announced.

Sessions are relaxed, fun, and fully guided. You do not need to know how to pose. I take care of all of that.

What to Expect

Each session is planned around you — your outfits, your personality, and the locations that mean the most to you. We will move through 2 to 4 locations during your session and I will handle all the posing direction so you feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Galleries are delivered within one week of your session through a private online gallery where you can download, share, and order prints.

Almost all of my clients come through word of mouth. That is the highest compliment I could receive and it reflects the standard I hold every session to.

What to Wear for UA Graduation Photos

Most graduates bring 1 to 3 outfit options plus their cap and gown. Earth tones, deep blues, and warm neutrals photograph beautifully against UA’s red brick and desert landscape. Avoid busy patterns or bright neon — they distract from your face. I send a full prep guide with every booking that covers outfits, hair, timing, and what to bring.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is a UA graduation session?
Most sessions run 1 to 2 hours depending on the package. We typically cover 2 to 4 locations on or near campus and work through 2 to 3 outfit changes.

Do you shoot at UA’s campus only, or other Tucson locations?
Both. I shoot across campus — Old Main, The Mall, Eller, the Agriculture area — and I’m also happy to add Tucson surroundings like Sentinel Peak, Tumamoc Hill, or the Sonoran Desert for graduates who want something beyond campus walls.

How soon will I get my photos?
Galleries are delivered within 1 week of your session. You receive a private online gallery link for downloading, sharing, and ordering prints.

How much does a University of Arizona graduation session cost?
Session pricing is listed on my pricing page. Sessions include professional editing, multiple locations, and a private online gallery.

Can I bring a friend or family member to the session?
Absolutely. I encourage it. Family and friend photos make a great addition to any graduation gallery and take just a few minutes to work in.

Do you offer cap and gown portraits at UA?
Yes, and it is one of my favorite parts of every session. The UA cap and gown with Old Main in the background is a timeless image that every graduate should have.
