University of Arizona Graduation Photographer | Allyson + Athena | University of Arizona Class of 2026

There is something about two best friends closing out their time at the University of Arizona together that makes for a completely different kind of graduation session. Allyson and Athena both walked away from UA in 2026, and they celebrated it the only way that made sense: their whole crew, the palm-lined street near Old Main, and an evening that felt like the perfect send-off to four years in Tucson.
Allyson graduated from the UA James E. Rogers College of Law, walking away with one of the most recognizable stoles on campus. Athena is an Eller College of Management grad and Pi Beta Phi member. Two different chapters, one incredible session, and a group of friends who showed up for every single moment.

The palm-lined street near Old Main is one of those spots that photographs itself during golden hour. The four of them walking together in their stoles, all in white dresses with the warm Tucson light cutting through the trees, this shot set the tone for the entire session. When a group shows up this comfortable with each other, every frame just works.

For Allyson’s solo portraits, the Old Main garden was the perfect match. The red blooms in the background, the fountain, the warm brick of the building behind her, and that Law stole making its statement front and center. There is a quiet confidence in these portraits that fits a law school graduate perfectly. Allyson owned every single frame in that garden.

The over-the-shoulder shot at the fountain is one of my favorites from this entire session. There is something about showing the back of the stole that tells the story differently. The Law branding, the posture, the smile just catching over her shoulder. If a single frame could summarize three years of law school, this is it.

If you are looking for a University of Arizona graduation photographer, the fountain garden near Old Main is always one of my first recommendations. The landscaping, the light at that time of day, and the brick architecture create a natural frame that works for every client. Allyson’s energy in these portraits made it effortless. You can see more of what this campus looks like in a session over at Isabella’s University of Arizona graduation session.

Athena’s solo portraits on the palm-lined street have a completely different energy from the group shots, more candid, more movement, more her. Walking shots like this are some of the most natural-looking photos I take because there is no pose to hold. You just walk, look back, and the camera catches the rest. The Tucson palms and late afternoon backlight do the heavy lifting.

Athena represented Pi Beta Phi beautifully during her portraits at the sorority house. That white stole with the red Pi Beta Phi lettering is instantly recognizable, and the flower-filled backdrop made for such a clean, classic graduation portrait. This one is going straight into a frame.

We wrapped up at the Eller College of Management for Athena’s final portraits, and the steps in front of that building are always a great location for business school grads. The glass facade, the modern architecture, the word Eller visible behind her, it all tells the story of what she built over four years. Athena, congratulations on graduating from Eller. Bear Down, always.
Allyson and Athena, thank you for letting me be part of your graduation season. Watching two friends celebrate this milestone together with their whole crew cheering them on, that is what these sessions are all about. Class of 2026 forever.
