Julia S | University of Arizona Duo Graduation Session | Medicine + Old Main

A UA College of Medicine stole and a gold college stole, two women who worked incredibly hard for those credentials, and one of the best duo University of Arizona graduation sessions of the year. Julia and her person hit the cactus path and Old Main steps and delivered a shoot that looked exactly as accomplished as it should.

Julia is a University of Arizona Class of 2026 graduate whose session with her fellow grad celebrated two different colleges and one shared milestone. The green UA College of Medicine stole next to a gold college stole on the cactus walk says everything. Two completely different paths, the same finish line, the same campus, the same pride.

We started on the cactus path near campus for the stole shots. Saguaros in the background, late afternoon Tucson light doing its thing, both of them holding their stoles and smiling the kind of smile you only get after you have actually earned something really hard. The green Medicine stole is a statement all by itself, and paired with that gold stole, the visual just works.

Then we moved to Old Main for the gown shots. Both of them in navy graduation gowns on the front steps, “OLD MAIN” above the door, hands on hips, completely owning the moment. That is the shot that ends up in the family group chat within five minutes of being sent.

Julia, the work you put in for that Medicine stole is extraordinary and I am so glad I got to capture this moment for you. Congratulations, Wildcat. Bear Down, Class of 2026.
